Yeah, it’s blood….I ran out of sweat and tears.

Want to help keep me in basic office supplies?

I’m always running out of basic supplies……if you’re willing & able, you can click on my list of what I use and buy a product …..OR…. you can buy me a coffee and I’ll get what I need when I need it. THANKS!

How long does it take to make a drawing like this in realtime?

Used to be under an hour to do the whole process -- the longest time being the conceptual -- the light, non-photo blue pencil work.

My hands shake so much now, it's taking me 3-4 hours.

...longer of the shaking s bad and I have to make a lot of corrections.

You can look at my work over the years and see the steady decline of the ability to hold a pencil and pen steady.

Still hoping I can draw till I kick the bucket.

I'm trying to convince myself that "Hey, you can just create a new drawing style -- a 'rough look'....so don't worry about it."

Well, that sucks. The look is great, though. I get that it's sped up but man, that's the level of skill I am aiming for. To me, all the Wanted Hero art looks like the same style.

Well, good.

It's all me.

...slow or not, I love drawing so much.

And I love watching.

Wait, that sounds creepy.

I mean I like seeing how the picture comes together, like with the shadows. It looks like you paint everything black that needs a shadow then change the transparency for light brightness.

Ta-DAAAAA.....give the man a PRIZE!!

That's exactly what I did, DW.

I prefer to do each piece, but when I started doing a layer full black, I found it both easier on my eyes, and it helped me find those shadow spots I often miss...

Plus it doesn't strain my hands so much.

It's been a while, but I have a digital drawing pad and I used to sketch a bit with it. It's actually easier for me to do that instead of paper, but shadows were a pain. I'll have to go back and try that again with this.

For me it was about using a digital pen I'll so I could turn up the sensitivity to save my grip strength.

I miss my pens and brushes.

I took such great care of my tools, been using the same brushes and nibs since I was 16.

Have them to my son when he started moving towards inks.

Made a good gooood living doing black and white line drawings.

Dad I wish you could have seen Lisa. She was enjoying the music so much, her little head bobbing, eyes closed, foot tapping.

When you finished inking she was in awe "Wow! Mom look at that."

We loved it 🤗 Super cool 😎
