…aaaaand we’re BACK!

Like back at work. Back to normal.

Whatever ‘normal’ means…

Life should include a lot of laughter, if you ask me.

We NEED laughter. The world around us is too nuts and critical to take things too seriously. So I just wanted you to know, from me to you, that I will do my darndest to never be too serious.

I’ll do my part.

✅ Highlights From the Video (for the impatient):

  • 🧡 Grandbaby is HEALING – Ketti is getting better! Her lungs are both open and growing stronger. Mom got to hold her skin to skin for the first time. Can only imagine what that baby felt…but I know mommy was emotional and grateful. Shout out to the veteran nurses at Primary Children’s Hospital for the tender care of my granddaughter.

  • 🦴 Zombies aren’t so bad anymore – Okay, that’s a flat out lie. But I AM coping better…because my family likes 7 Days to Die…and I like being with them. Otherwise I wouldn’t play. Now I need to get my wife to play a game. She usually beats me at games. Small price to pay for good company, IMHO.

  • Stories of my life doing questionable things – There are advantages to getting older. One of the best aspects saying what you think and there being more acceptance from those around you. Not sure if it’s ignoring me, or just not giving what I have to say much credit…but either way, I get to laugh more AND make others laugh. That’s a good thing. Even if you’re a waitress… or a kid at the drive-thru window 🥤.

  • 🎲 Basic Rules Done, It’s Module Time – The TTRPG project is cooking along, and as I finish the rules editing, I’m working on the first one-shot adventure for you to play. Not done this before, so not sure how it’ll go…but I’m giggly excited! Let me know in the comments if you want a copy to try out!!

  • 🎤 YES, I DID go to Big Benny and the Fat Bottoms LIVE concert…EPIC – if you didn’t listen to the end of the video, here’s the direct song by Benny and Lola.

So glad to hear your grandbaby is doing well! I had never heard of an Arctic Circle other than the literal. For a brief moment I had the thought, “where does he actually live?” 😂 …I need to drink more coffee now.

LOL

Artic Circle is, IMO, an upgrade to a McDonalds or Burger King...but that's only in looks. The food is NOT as 'good'....yech.

As I mentioned, only visit them for my kids to get Ice Cream.

Cesilea called me on Thursday "Help!" Her and Lolo were laughing so hard. "I have 50 lb. of coffee. Please send buckets or bags for me to fill and send back to you." I didn't think she was serious until she sent a picture of her next to the box. It was HUGE! She could easily fit in that box. Now I have a 4-gallon bucket of coffee, and she wants me to send another bucket lol

You know, one of my absolute favorite things to do is going on a double date with my parents. Dad and I have so much fun teasing people, sneaking food from other tables, and making our spouses uncomfortable lol

Drive through with you dad is so fun. You're starting to rub off on me, because I've started to do things like that on my own lol and that's saying something. I am one of my dad's quiet kids, unless it's just family, then I'm just as loud as the next Buckley child.

Loved the song at the end Dad. They sound so good!

So glad you had a great weekend, and you're getting over your fear of zombies. I was shifting uncomfortably in my seat just looking at the zombies you put on the screen XD

Jessie-bear, you had me laugh-snorting by the second sentence.

Fifty pounds of coffee?! What in the jittery, wide-eyed name of Mahan’s Pink Panties is Cesilea planning—a small-town takeover or her own underground Starbucks?

I mean, I respect your sister, but that girl’s gonna start vibrating through walls if she drinks all that herself. 😂

Also—YES to double dates with you and Chris. Some of my favorite memories, hands down.

Teasing and...literal thinkers.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA....

There is no finer chaos than you and me tag-teaming the art of harmless public mischief.

And don’t think I didn’t notice you stealing [what was it...fries?] from the table next to us last time.

Proud Dad moment. 😎

Drive-thrus are fun, but we don't have any to prank around here. Plus the kids working in them would most likely be someone we know.

*snort*

You’ve definitely inherited the bug. I’ve trained you well.

Weird looks from employees?

Bonus points.

Confused silence on the intercom?

Victory.

And the fact that you call yourself the “quiet kid” just proves how dangerously sneaky you are. I’ve seen what happens when you’re unleashed around your siblings.

Glad you liked the song—those voices were magic, huh? And don’t worry, I’m making peace with zombies… sort of. As long as they stay on the screen and don’t touch my coffee, we’ll get along fine.

Love you, sweet girl. You’ll always be my favorite mischief partner...when you're IN the car [smirk] 💛

It was 2 loaves of bread...maybe 3 😎😂

People in our community are noticing more and more those sneaky "Don't worry, I can wait. I'll getcha later." Trates I've inherited from you.

"You are so much like your dad." They will say. To which I will smile

"Thank you!" They shake their heads

"You’re like your dad in the - hide in the dark months later when they have forgotten the incident completely just to scare the crap out of them. That kind of reminds me of your dad." Pause, smile still on my face

"Thank you."

To be totally honest, I love when people say I'm like you dad. I make some of the best friends because of the artistic, storytelling, friendly, defender trates I get from you. And the other trates mentioned keep the other people away from me and my kids. So, win win 👍🏻

The gentler trates from mom round me off well and her goofy facial expressions. I love mom's expressive face 🥰😂
