It’s a scary thing, especially in today’s world, to expose yourself and make yourself vulnerable. Many consider that a weakness, and they hesitate, because there’s a desire to maintain the appearance of ‘success’.
But what is success? For me, and for Life of Fiction, ‘success’ specifically means the process flows, the community grows, and members of Life of Fiction love the content.
…it has nothing to do with money.
ZERO.
I LOVE that definition, because it makes me excited to wake up Monday mornings! I’m hyper and ready to start running, creating material for you to enjoy.
If there are challenges to achieving that definition of success, it causes me a good amount of stress and anxiety.
That’s why I turned to you for a new perspective last week.

I'm glad you set this up! It's better to have it there and, if anyone wants to use it, they can. I have a challenge in finding that balance too, though. I don't like to ask for things because I don't want to bother people, but I'm aware that I probably won't receive help if I people don't know I need it. Still, I feel guilty when people say they want to help but can't etc. but I am trying to do better in that area. I can totally relate to the "I need this but if I don't get help I'll find a way to do it anyway" lol. Basically my outlook as well. I just keep praying and keep going and keep relying on God. But I know that He has put people in our lives to help. I just accept the fact that it may not be the help I think I need. God bless you always, brother.
