FIRST LOOK: Ink & Purpose Cover Reveal!
I'm about to publish a book on fiction.
Well friends, here it is.
The first look at the official cover for Ink & Purpose: Why Fiction Matters, a deeply personal book written for those who still believe stories can change the world.
This isn’t just another essay collection.
It’s a love letter to fiction.
A challenge to writers.
A lifeline for parents, teachers, and readers trying to raise kids in a world that feels increasingly loud, distracted, and disconnected.
Over the course of 12 in-depth, emotionally charged articles, this book explores how fiction…
Shapes the moral compass
Builds empathy and resilience
Trains the brain to focus, reflect, and imagine
Offers sanctuary in a digital storm
Creates the conditions for heroism—yes, real heroism
The back cover reads:
"Because fiction is more than entertainment—it’s how we teach courage without consequence, empathy without lectures, and wisdom without wounds. If we want to raise a generation that thinks deeply, feels fully, and acts with conviction… we must understand the sacred, world-changing power of story."
I wrote this for you.
For every writer who's ever wondered if their story matters.
For every parent who isn’t sure how to connect anymore.
And for every teacher or librarian trying to plant seeds that last.
I Want to Hear From You
What do you think of the cover?
What emotions or thoughts does it stir up?
Did you follow the Legacy Article series? If so, do you feel this cover and title reflect what those articles meant to you?
Would love your honest feedback in the comments.
And if you're one of those amazing people who believes in the power of story—please consider sharing this post.
Let’s make this movement grow.
Because fiction still guides us…and now more than ever, we need its light.
Jaime

I've heard how many people were told as children to get up and do something useful when they were curled up with a book. I had that experience.
I encouraged my kids to read.
Love the cover! My only pet peeve is that the bulb doesn't look hand drawn like all the rest of the graphics. Even the font Looks hand done, but the bulb is too clean. What's the timeline on release?
