The Demoni Vankil is what first sold me on Wanted Hero. I remember you sending it to me and diving into it on a long plane ride. I could not put it down! Those letters enthralled me and I had to know more about this world and this gnome.
The main thing about posting it now, is it hasn’t been available anywhere for some time. One of the blessings of doing this here, on Substack, is I can go through and do hard edits.
Editing, as you remember, was never my priority. I’d ask people two questions:
1) Sere you able to enjoy the read without the errors pulling you from the story?
2) Did you enjoy the story itself?
If you answered ‘yes’ to both, it wasn’t a concern.
Now I get to do this over again, and I want to work hard on edits to smooth out the reading experience for you ❤️
I did read this book but it’s been long enough. I struggle to remember much. But I do remember the enjoyment. So I’m very excited to experience the improved version
I’m waiting on the edge of my seat to see where you go from here.
I am so tempted to ask for feedback in certain areas -- and I was typing in some questions to respond to you, Joseph -- then I remembered that was precisely how I got off course the first time.
Best self-advice is to create as if there are no consequences.
My hope is that over the next year, every subscriber will understand and see proof that all I want to do is build you a world-class fantasy experience.
Still learning how to use this platform, BUT I'm finding neat little tips and tools that just might give me superpowers.
I purchased a new phone, and it wouldn't allow me to access Life of Fiction, but when you sent me the link, it gave me many more options than I had ever discovered when I originally began my subscription.
This is awesome, and exciting to be able to start, again, but at the very beginning of the story.

I'm so excited to see you adding to this!

I can't wait to read more!
That makes me smile. More is on the way...
Woohoo!

You are incredible.
Thanks, Jaime.
Keep saying things like that, Hyrum, and you're going to end up encouraging me to keep writing! 😏
Good!! I look forward to many more amazing, and encouraging, as well as captivating stories.
Ohhh,....alright.
If you insist.
🤨
I do, but now I've got to stop insisting, and just go to bed.
Read you in the morning.
No. Video in the morning.
You know the schedule 📅
I've been listening, from the beginning, all day long, and loving everything except the fact that the stories don't do continuous play.
Is there a way to make it continue to play from chapter to chapter without having to select each chapter?
Going on to day two of your work. I've gotten to Wendell's first trip to the Black market.
I'm able to follow the story much better, the second time around, than with the first reading.
Thanks for the great stories, Jaime.
I'm hoping that you are referring to the reading experience on Substack and not that you are understanding my storytelling the second time around? LOL
