Just wanted to drop a note and say thank you for sharing your story - the first three articles hit me deeply, how you keep going is a mystery I’ll never know, but if I had to guess I’d say it was a f-bomb (family).
Really excited to see how your current new journey goes and I wish you the best of luck with it. I’ve just picked up the first two books Demoni Vankil and Choices for my Kindle.
From what I’ve read so far your voice and style seems very similar to another writer friend of mine M T McGuire and her K’Barthan series (at hamgee.co.uk) I think you might enjoy them.
There's something I wish more people would understand...
People need to know who they are, and what they are meant to do. Their purpose.
This is what I do. Every day.
I teach this to my children still at home, and I taught that to each of my married kids.
They now teach this to their children.
When we are worn down, beat down, rejected, ignored, spat on, persecuted for WHATever reasons...my family and I know what to do next.
...because it's not something we do...it's who we are.
People matter, Jon.
I don't agree with most folks and I'm likely one of the most disagreeable men you're likely to meet, but I LOVE people. I want them to succeed, and I find joy in other people's successes.
Stories should uplift, encourage and empower people to be the very best version of themselves, IMO.
As storytellers, we have the opportunity to find the adventures that help people do that, through various genre's and ideas.
Thank you. It took me the best of fifty years to discover my true purpose. At first I thought it was to be a video game developer, then a software app developer, the few times I got promoted to being in charge of others I discovered that wasn’t my happy path. I was / am a creative and I need to create every day to keep the dark clouds away. Eventually I discovered my true purpose was to be a storyteller, that creativity is not just crafts and building software and games and notion templates. It’s also about telling stories and everything else flows out of and feed back into that. I identified as a multipotentialite after some deep introspection and this lead me to realise that all my interests, my passions, I could trace a narrative thread through all of it.
I tell stories, and I want to share and help as many other people tell their stories as well.
Jaime, I'm inspired, every time I read, or listen to your articles, and stories, and love how you always end with that statement, "You are more than you think you are." It always gives me a lift in my heart, and my spirit.
I, too, desire to lift the spirits of others, though I don't have the same bard like talents.
Your stories keep that desire alive in my heart, and mind, and help me to continue to spread, or rather, reflect the light which is me into the lives of those I come in contact with.
Thankyou for that, and please continue the good work.
Thank you for speaking directly to the soul of the wounded, the struggler, the dreamer, the one who dares to keep going even when the path feels unclear. Life produces some real, messy, imperfect stories—but that’s where the magic lives, doesn’t it? And yes, we are more than we think we are. Sometimes we just need someone to hold up that mirror for us. 🪞
If you don't mind me saying so, Kristie, I believe you felt this because you have a strong, yet kind & caring soul. Anyone who knows you will agree with me on that part.
You're right, IMO, that the experience we gain (always at the expense of other people) is where the magic lives...IF we are willing to learn from it.
I find myself more confident with people like you in the world, Kristie.
...I'm very grateful you're here, and you are shining in your own element.
Thank you for your thoughtful message, Jaime. I truly appreciate your words and the energy you’re putting out into the world through your work—it’s clear you care about meaningful impact and the world is blessed to receive it. Wishing you continued clarity and creativity as you move forward in all that you’re doing and bringing to the community!
Love this so much!!! As creatives, we can't hear it enough.

Jon,...we're gonna be best friends, you and me...so don't fight it.
Ya just described me as well.
Looking forward to getting to know you.
In fact, maybe we should do an interview soon...you and me and just chat about this in the HUB.
Yeah, I’m getting the same vibe - love to chat

Thank you, Hyrum.
That is the kindest feedback I've had in a very long time. Too often I wonder if anything I say or do helps anyone, anywhere.
Compliments like yours motivate me more than you realize. 😁
Cute little piece thanks for sharing
Wow—felt every word of this.
