The Bloodsticks Cover Looks Better Now
As we draw to the close of this next book, I wanted to share the updates with the cover. Funny how dramatic the changes can be when you add a few shadows.

Our second book is coming to a close next week. That means publication!
This Friday youโll get the end of this mystery, Bloodsticks, which both Hรถbin and I hope youโve enjoyed. As I mentioned in yesterday's morning coffee, we will include a copy of the actual rules of the game in the publication next week.
Every reader can build and play this game.
I love knowing that.
Today is the day that Iโd like to show you what Iโve been working on, between the editing sessions of Bloodsticks.
The new cover.
Another Mystery Solved
This has been a bit more difficult to do the artwork than it should have been. Last Thursday I found out why. My wife and two daughters and I went in for a long overdue eye test with an optometrist and the results werenโt what I was expecting.
Not only are my eyes worse, which wasnโt a big deal, I also have a cataract. My prescription has been long overdue for a change, as my eyes have been deteriorating.
Now the struggles make more sense.
Oh, donโt worry, everythingโs going to be okay. This doctor is amazing, and when I told him what I do for a living, he worked with me and gave me two specific prescriptions โ one for everyday wearing โ and the other a socialized pair for working with both artwork and screens. So as soon as I can save up the money, Iโll get that taken care of.
The New and Improved Cover
The good news is that Iโve been working on the cover in small increments, and today I get to show you the difference between the two front parts.
Hereโs the original cover which has been in all the email chaptersโฆ
...and here's the improved and detailed cover that will appear on both the digital and print versions of the published books.
See the difference? I love it.
The whole cover is still being worked on โ and if I can get it completed, Iโll show you next week. That, along with the code to get your discount for the digital version of the book.
Yes, youโll get it long before the public will.
What a silly question to ask me.
YOU are my favorite.
Duh.
If you have any comments, suggestions you feel I should take into consideration, pleaseโฆIโd love you to share that with me in the comments section. Thank you for being here for me and reading about Hรถbinโs adventure!
Talk again soon.

My Dad had cataracts in his eyes which he had removed about a year ago. He was shocked by how colorful everything looked. Not just the ease of seeing but realizing he was living life with a yellow filter over everything. Anyway awesome work on the cover. Feels much more cinematic.
Woohoo! I'm excited for the book. I'm waiting to meet with a surgeon to understand what is going on with my eyes but the eye doctor feels I'll have better vision after whatever is going on it fixed, because while they're in there, maybe they can correct my eyesight. Why are these mortal bodies so fragile? We need some of Hรถbin's tech. But I know he can't share.
