Whatโs the main mode of transportation in the dragons chasm? (specifically for explorers etc.)
if there is such a magnetic force it keeps massive floating islands aloft. Iโm sure it wouldnโt be too much of a stretch to use your own electro magnets to make floating platforms. Transportation etc. even just lining a vehicle could make it lighter and much more efficient. Even lining your clothes and shoes could allow for extended jumps and cushioned landings. โEspecially if they were electro magnets which Iโm sure the gnomes have access to.โ
Even just going into mundane tasks. Putting several magnets around a boulder would make it much easier to lift.
I would think that using the same magnetic forces as the island would subject you to the same random drops and shoves that the island encounter seeing as the stones are constantly shifting in magnetic force.
Are the stone themselves varying in magnetic forces? Or are there just varying levels of magnetic forces through the caverns? For instance there might be a โdead spotโ where thereโs a much lesser amount of magnetic force causing the island to drop while itโs floating along.
And even if it wasnโt the case. Using it would still be beneficial in many scenarios especially if you were using electro magnets which you could adjust the strength of depending on the moment.
True that. I would love to take a trip over there to run tests to see exactly how it all works. It's hard to understand exactly how things work with a natural phenomenon such as this without actually being there.
I cannot wait to hear about these "revelations" you have had Jaime. I will be patient and wait to read about them. But I love seeing things like this come together at the most bizarre, and random moments.

I'm trying to get a hold of Finley to answer your question, Joseph. He's on Pinwheel right now, so it may take a few tries.
The only method I am aware of -- which is to get from Pinwheel down to the various levels -- is a heavy cable device they shoot at the cavern floor.

That would be an awesome end-goal bonus for special subscribers.....field trip!!
Could you imagine if I could actually get permission and develop a way to GET us there??
What I wouldn't give..... An experience that my end in death? Sign me up!!! I love danger!
HAHAHAHA!
Ohhhh, I've been going through the sessions (podcasts) and I do NOT see the interview between Hรถbin and Finley on Pinwheel about the Fungal Horror.
I'll schedule that after next week -- it'll be a BONUS episode.

Random?
....nawww.
