Family Time: December reminded me of something simple but profoundātime with family isnāt just important; itās sacred. And Iām finally learning to honor that.
Adjusting Priorities: For 30 years, I thought providing for my family meant working non-stop. Turns out, my real job is to be there for them, first and foremost.
Community Bonds: When our washer gave out during the chaos of family sickness, our amazing neighbors stepped in with kindness. That moment? It reminded me how much we need each other.
Challenges & Resilience: Life threw a lot at usāsick kids, grandkids, and just general mayhemābut we made it through. Not perfectly, but together.
Gratitude for Neighbors: You know what I realized? Community isnāt just about proximity; itās about love in action. My neighbors showed me that in spades.
Spiritual & Personal Growth: Iāve had to accept this humbling truth: I donāt control everything. Sometimes, things just happen. My job is to lean into faith and keep moving forward.
Reader Connection: The encouragement and support I get from youāthis communityāmeans more to me than you probably realize. Youāre the reason I keep going.
Intentions for the Year: This year, Iām committed to balancing betterāmore family time, more creativity, and hopefully, a little more sleep. Weāll see how that goes.
Choosing Courage: Fear will always be there, but Iām choosing courage. Iām choosing to lean into life, to embrace the unexpected, and to keep showing upāscruffy or not.
