Always sending all the prayers to you and your family. I think a lot of creatives and entrepreneurial types would love to make a comfortable wage from their own business and not have to work for anyone else (myself included). It's not strange to want that at all. The main reason I hear people not wanting that is when they think it will "take the fun out of creating" if it becomes a job, but I don't think that would happen to me. I think I'm equally or more stressed trying to keep up with everything AND having a "regular job", not getting enough rest, doing all the things etc. if the fun was going to be taken out of it, it already would be gone and I'd still want to do creative/entrepreneurship for a living tbh if it was lucrative enough.
Keeping you in prayer regarding the small publishing house and hopefully things work out. <3
I'm with you...in that I don't think it would happen to me. I've been doing this for so long, I think it's proven that fact. To make my full living from this would alleviate so much stress, believe the opposite would be true.
I'd have even MORE fun, and create even MORE stories, because this is how I function. The stress comes from having to split my attentions.
Always grateful for your prayers, WordiGirl. Always. Praying for you to find an abundance of work you love to do.
...and as for the small publishing house, what happened was supposed to happen. So it'll help me regardless.
Watching this on Tues morning. And man has it been a week already. Early mornings and late nights. But we got this π
I get it, Joshua. Same here, 4 am to rise, 11:30 pm -1am to bed so far.
Trying to get articles completed and scheduled to leave more time for writing the novel...AND provide a short story (grin).
Mine hasn't been that bad but I'm a little baby when it comes to missing sleep
Ahhhhhh, to be a child and have the ability to burn the candle at both ends again?
Sign me up.
Sadly, I have to pull from the energy bank I need for tomorrow, today.
Ahhhhh, to be stuck with nothing left but brittle wax and no wick to light.
LUCKILY, some *sniff* *sniff* [wipes away a tear of joy] beautiful souls in this community gifted me some amazing incense.

Good morning! Best I can say is ... working on improving the week!
That's always the best focus. Then, we watch for those potential doors to open....so we can JUMP THROUGH!
I'm with you there and watching close!
I bet the small publisher thinks it is an April Fools joke on them. Jaime Buckley wants to work with us? Naaaaaa....
Hahaha..... that wouldn't be a joke. That would be mean.
Agreed!
