....you've been on my mind when I stop moving about like some frantic writer....Was hoping you found a better job than your last one? Last time we actually chatted, you were about to lose work and I've been worried.
I am trying to see if I can get into insurance or something because things just haven't been working out. I am scheduled to take the state test for my license next week.
I also ran a Kickstarter but it didn't successfully fund. Some of the backers want to support me a bit anyways but I didn't get to keep the $1,331 that the original backers accumulated because the goal wasn't met.
One....wow. Insurance is a great field to get a foothold in. I went the financial route for several years, when from making just enough to survive, to living well, getting out of debt and having experienced my first time of financial comfort for my wife and children.
I'll be praying for you on your test!
Two...I've not had success with KS myself. Just didn't have the backing I needed,...so I used Indiegogo instead. They allow you to keep the partial amount, at least when I did a few campaigns years ago.
Maybe look into using them next time? I had the same -- readers who wanted to support me anyway, and I could still deliver the prizes/products for pledging, so those turned out well.
Keep fighting....and if you need help, take names.
Pass me the list while no one's looking =)
Strive to get up one more time than you get knocked down. Sometimes I think that's the only way we can wear the world out -- forcing to throw up it's hands and leave us the flip alone!
...sometimes it almost feels impossible, but do it anyway, because it's worth it.
sending prayers, love, and hugs to you and your family always, brother. <3
Thank you, little sister.

I'm so impressed with your amazing productivity.
Life isn't great, and I'm fighting it hard to make it turn around. Not there yet, but I'm keeping my hopes up.

Thanks Jamie. It's been knocking me down and trying to stuff me in a locker. But I'm still getting up so far.
