You know what the strangest thing is about the whole process I've been going through and just the hint of disapproval (because it hasn't been huge pushback, quite the opposite -- this community are MY people)....?

I had a few others approach me privately, and they all said the exact same thing you just did...and I'm so grateful. Yes, I know this is my decision alone, but my career is making things for OTHERS. Yet, this is the only way, and possibly the best way, for me to keep doing what I've done my whole life.
...and THAT, I intend to do until I no longer exist in mortal form.
