People are what matter.
Thatโs what we forget too often.
When I think about how Iโve made a living since 1986, I can honestly say is comes down to a single issue: Relationships.
Those who know me and interact with me, will likely tell you that they matter to me. They know and feel that they have value to me, because itโs true. They do.
This experience, when you consider it, changes everything. Your interactions with others will have a direct influence on the amount of influence you have as a person. Influence affects al aspects of life.
โฆbut people have to matter to you.
This isnโt about selling to people. It isnโt about getting people to do what YOU want, either.
Itโs about caring.
Iโll say it again:
People Matter.
Try something this week, and Iโll prove this to you.
Next time to have to interact with another person โ and this could be live, or even over the phone โ do this: Before the interaction begins, say: โHey, before we start, I just want to say โThank youโ, if no one else does today. I sure appreciate what you do, and Iโm grateful.โ
โฆand notice how the experience improvesโฆfor BOTH of you.
Have a great week.
