Hope everyone is feeling better, and over it by Christmas! And about the birds, two words: Nerf gun. They make tiny Nerf bullets that I used to stop pigeons from hanging out on my roof. And I didn't harm any of them. Never tried to hit them just near them. Pigeons really don't like those little missiles hurling around them. And they learned. It's been years and they have not come back. 😉
It was a sight, I’m sure. Of course, before I got the Nerf gun, I tried to throw a rock. I wound up so much that when I released the rock I fell forward. And the rock only went high enough to hit the side of the house. Yes, I imagine the pigeons were laughing. But that stopped when they saw my Nerf gun.
