Thereβs something magical about the past.
If you think back, Iβm sure you have something you can remember that brings about a wonderful, almost euphoric feeling.
My #1 memory is meeting my darling wife, whom, after 36 years together, I adore infinitely more. Nothing has ever matched looking at this girl for the first time, in total silence and in the presence of over 250 strangers staring at usβ¦and thinking, βOh yeah, Iβm marrying this girl.β
Less than 10 days later, we were engaged.
That was 13 children, 33 grandchildren and millions of smiles that give me butterflies ago.
On the flip side, I have another memory ingrained in my soulβ¦that makes me giggle like the 13 year old I was.
Standing there while my dad, my true to life hero, as he became the very first person in our local arcade in California, to beat the video game Dragons Lair.
Not some kid.
My dad.
Creating A Future Plan of Comic Books and
Why am I bringing up the past?
Because today I awoke with a yearning for a brighter future.
In 1990 I started recording dreams Iβd had, which were desires to create experiences through storytelling that would:
Entertain
Uplift
Encourage
Inspire
Be something readers want to share with others.
My dreams were to create a billion dollar entertainment company that kids would obsess over, and parents would promote. The biggest IP was Wanted Hero, focused on helping readers find the hero in themβ¦with the central story of that world, being Chronicles of a Hero.
Hereβs the old trailer created, before un-publishing the series in 2021.
Life of Fiction is that parent entity, with hundreds of IPβs waiting to come to life. My hope has been to encourage my own talented children to assist me, sharing their own incredible talents for novels, comics, games, βedutainmentβ, animation, music and so much more.
Then that sparked the question of todays coffee sessionβ¦
