Yeah, just search the web for balancing exercises (adding an age filter is probably not a bad idea). Also, once you think you're confident enough, hiking trails would be a great way to knock several things out at once: exercise, balance, & nature! Yes, multi-tasking...but it's good multi-tasking.

Thank Neil!

The health issues I have probably prevent much attempts with the trails (for NOW),....but yes, multi-tasking (or piggybacking) the efforts is always a good idea.

Thank you so much for this plug, Jaime. This was a great encouragement as I start another week! For balance, and probably a terrible idea - my chiro used to recommend this thing that I'd stand on that had a rounded bottom and a flat top. Definitely an adventure. These days I'd fall right off, though.

I thought a little about that...don't have one, but saw Roman using one at a home we were at....oh, WAIT, it was at Leilani's house...Ketti's mom!!

I'll ask where she got that.

No, I LIKE that idea!!

It does work, but it could also dump you... they're nice and sturdy, the one I have is pretty with woodwork...

So if I'm hearing you correctly....

It works, AND...I might get the bonus of rolling practice?

Deleyna Marr's avatar

It works and you might get the bonus of a broken skull.

Maybe it'll knock some sense INTO me…?

No balance suggestions for me (mine isn’t that great either)

Great to see you today.

I won’t get into the topic of AI

I have some opinion and have looked quite a lot.

But I haven’t read her article and who knows the book might change my mind.

What i loved is how she brings up solid principally based questions for you to consider...from BOTH sides.

Brilliant work.

...but that's Lisa for you.

It was a very good weekend 😌

The olive story got me laughing. It's true, we don't lie.

Dad do you remember when I was little, how easy it was to get information out of me if someone was trying to keep a secret? Most of the time all you or mom had to say was "Jessie?" Everything would come out and then some πŸ˜† most of the time just thinking about doing something wrong hurt my conscience so badly I felt like I needed to confess my "sins" Lol There were many times that I went to mom to confess and her response was "You didn't do it, and you want to say sorry for thinking about doing it?" Me sobbing "Yeah." Mom pulling me in and stroking my hair. "Good job telling me. Just... remember to...not do it again?"

I would always tell other kids not to share secrets with me. When they would ask me why I would reply, "If our parents ask me, I'll tell them, and if it's something bad I'll tell mom and dad because they need to know." I wasn't usually a confidant for other people πŸ˜‚

That's my daughter.

Well done.

Parents often think things like this are complicated and they are not.

What has always been the simple teaching mom and I say about stealing?

...it doesn't MATTER whose it is.

iIf it isn't YOURS, don't touch it!

Nuff said.

That's what I tell my children lol

We're getting to the point where it's really starting to sink in.

Consistency.

#1 key.
