This community has helped me fix things faster than ever before, so I decided to lean on all of you and see if I’m missing something, too paranoid, or what.
I’m a little late, and I love the updated version, although I did notice that you completely got rid of the gem on the “i”. Do you have plans to reincorporate the gem somewhere else? If not I feel like you might want to reconsider.
We have already talked about the benefits of having the gem on there, so I’m not going to rehash them.
Other than that, I really like the new cover, and I do think using the old fonts is an improvement even though I didn’t realize it needed to be improved. That’s my feedback for you, hope it helps
Been doing NovelEmber, got to 31K then had a fire with trees down—power has been out for 3 1/2 days… following up with a kidney infection and emergency trip so I’m not really back but just saw this go by and realized it might still be in time to contribute just an instant reaction… What about a texture with colour on the plain? Maybe slightly italicized? Just thoughts. (And I agree that the old font looks great… I just didn’t look at it in thumbnail or with the prospect of across the room in a bookstore.)🤔💭❤️🤗

Yeah, I don’t know what to say, but if this cover makes you uncomfortable, change it back to what looks right to you. Be you! It’s what you do best!

The old fonts are great! If it will save you stress 100% go for it and I will be awesome!
If you want to try using the new ones I think you could.
I think your main problem is they look stuck together on the top
“chronicles” is different from “of a” which is different from “Hero”.
“Choices” at the bottoms looks fine because it’s separated it’s its own thing
If hero looked similar to chronicles I bet it would solve the majority of your cringing/homemade feel. but that’s just a theory
And I really like the old fonts too so there’s that.
Me too...and I did go back to Henny Penny...cause it feels like the storyline.

THANK you for pointing that out. It was artwork, not part of the font set, so when I deleted the old cover, it vanished and I missed it.
